Mindfulness sessions well under way – taking names for September Programme

Healing Minds is a community project based in Corby for recovering addicts and their spouses/partners/parents/siblings/children. Our first Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Programme is now well under way and has been running for 3 weeks. We are already aware that those who are attending are receiving enormous benefits from using these mindfulness techniques in their lives to empower themselves when coping with the stress, anxiety and cravings that addiction and living with addiction can bring about. Our group members are also receiving one to one holistic treatments of their choice from Tama Do, Reiki, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Crystal Healing Therapy free of charge to support them in their early days of recovery from addiction or living with addiction. If you or anyone that you know could benefit from this support, please email me at katie@stagesnonprofit.org  We are now taking names for the next group which will start in September, but we can also offer one to one holistic therapy sessions prior to this. We are looking for Volunteer Mentors who are now experiencing sobriety in their lives who can share their stories / wisdom with our members either in person, an email / telephone support or part of our facebook group. We are also looking for volunteer therapists who can offer one to one sessions with clients (expenses paid). Please contact me if you can help in any way.
